We aim to keep you safe while taking care of  your oral health.

As the lockdown restrictions begin to ease in Ireland we would like to reassure you that we remain open as an essential service.

Following the COVID-19 outbreak, we’ve taken the decision to put extra patient protection measures in place based on the best available evidence and recommendations  (HPSC, Irish Dental Council, HSE) . It’s to ensure your safety, the safety of our staff, and to allow you to visit in peace of mind.

Infection control - We’re performing deeper, thorough and more frequent cleans – especially in the surgery room .  This measure is something we’ve always done ,  but now appointments are scheduled with spaces between to allow extra time for even more thorough surgery room disinfection between patients.

Booking - Please phone  in advance for appointments, walk-ins cannot be facilitated. 

Arrival - To limit the number of people in the practice, please ensure you arrive on time . Please come alone, unless necessary, and only bring essential belongings.

Social distancing - We’ve adjusted our waiting area and arrival procedure, and spaced out appointments – to help you maintain safe social distancing.

Maintain essential hygiene -  we will ask you to  clean your hands as you enter the surgery using the antibacterial gel provided, and to observe cough etiquette.

Checking temperature - We’ll check your temperature upon arrival using a non-contact thermometer. If it’s deemed too high, your treatment may be rescheduled for a later date.

PPE - Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) has always been worn by dental teams  in practice, but the new safety measures mean that enhanced PPE is required to minimise the risk of cross contamination during treatments.
